Castle-Home-PageAdditional Expenses
You will incur other expenses while studying at ULI in Ireland. Additional expenses include: room and board, life event excursions, travel and personal expenses. Actual expenses incurred will vary for each student based on his or her individual choices.

Room and Board
There are many housing options in Dundalk, and ULI will work closely with you to ensure your accommodations are comfortable and suitable for your individual needs. Living arrangements include: renting a flat for yourself, renting a room in furnished home with other classmates, or even living with an Irish family.

Boat_and_Water_IrelandLife Event Activities and Excursions
Develop your language skills during your free time! With the belief that students need to practise and use their new English skills outside of the classroom, ULI will coordinate various excursions and activities to deepen your learning experience. Enjoy learning about Irish culture with dance classes, traditional Irish music lessons, or trips to visit castles. Or join your classmates on boat trips, beach walks, or horseback riding.

These activities and excursions are optional. The costs of these events are not included in the course fee. Participation and transport fees vary per event. Activities and excursions must be booked and paid for prior to the event. Each event has a minimum student participation requirement that must be met.

Travel
You will need to pay for your own travel to and from Dundalk from your home country. Additionally, transportation expenses incurred for travel within Ireland are your responsibility and not included in the course fees.

Depending on your country of origin, travel to and from Ireland will be through Dublin International Airport. Travel within the country can be done by utilising Ireland’s rail system, bus or coach services, or even by taxi when necessary. ULI can assist you with coordinating your transportation needs.

Other Expenses
You may have other personal expenses that are not described. Please advise ULI of any anticipated expenses not expressed here; we will do our best to help you determine the potential cost involved.
