Our goal is that each student have comprehensive progression with his or her acquisition of the English language.
When a student leaves a ULI class, three things have occurred: he/she has:

• achieved a higher level of understanding of the topic being presented
• are equipped to replicate the information learned
• collaborated with other students and the instructor

ULI primarily implements the Communicative Approach for teaching English to adult learners. Personalised activities are heavily utilised to engage each student in meaningful communication, with the intention of achieving active engagement by everyone in the class.
